Reliable phase-change thermal interface
Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM is a phase-change thermal pad designed for efficient heat transfer between processors or graphics chips and their cooling solutions. Solid and easy to handle at room temperature, it begins to liquefy above 45°C and behaves similarly to thermal paste during operation, providing effective heat transfer, consistent performance, and long service life.

Phase-change technology
PhaseSheet PTM remains solid at room temperature for straightforward installation. Once the operating temperature rises above 45°C, the material begins to liquefy, allowing it to conform closely to the contact surfaces and efficiently transfer heat between the chip and cooler.

Consistent thermal performance
In its liquid state, PhaseSheet PTM has very low viscosity and contracts again as it returns to a solid state. This behaviour helps minimise the pump-out effect that can gradually push conventional thermal paste away from the contact area through repeated heating and cooling cycles.

Designed for long-term use
Compared with conventional thermal pastes, PhaseSheet PTM provides greater resistance to performance degradation caused by repeated thermal cycling. Its thermal conductivity reaches and stabilises at maximum performance after approximately ten thermal cycles above 60°C.

Electrically non-conductive
The material is electrically non-conductive, making it suitable for use around sensitive electronic components. Its primary applications include processors and graphics chips where reliable thermal transfer is required without the electrical conductivity associated with some high-performance thermal interface materials.

Optimised contact under pressure
For optimal distribution and the lowest possible interface thickness, the manufacturer recommends approximately 300–400 N of contact pressure. This allows the liquefied phase-change material to spread effectively across the contact surface during operation.

Wide operating temperature range
PhaseSheet PTM is designed to operate across a broad temperature range from -75°C to +150°C, making it suitable for a variety of demanding cooling applications and operating conditions.

Ready-to-use 50 × 40 mm sheet
The 50 × 40 mm sheet provides 2000 mm² of phase-change material that can be applied between the heat source and cooling surface. Unlike conventional thermal paste, its solid state at room temperature makes positioning and installation straightforward before the cooler is mounted.
