Description

Theo is a high-performance compressor dehumidifier. Moist air passing through the pre-filter is first directed through a cooling coil. As the air cools on the surface of the coil, moisture condenses onto it. The air then passes through a heating coil before being released back into the room. The cooling and heating coils work together to keep the temperature of the incoming and outgoing air balanced.

Since this type of dehumidification works by cooling the air, it requires a sufficient temperature difference before freezing occurs at 0°C. This means compressor dehumidifiers are more efficient at higher temperatures and less effective at lower temperatures. Theo has a minimum operating temperature of +5°C (with humidity from 40%) and a maximum operating temperature of +40°C (with relative humidity up to 90%). The recommended operating temperature range is 13°C–35°C.

Where to use the Theo dehumidifier:
Theo is well suited to almost any warm and humid room, especially saunas and laundry rooms. It is ideal to remove excess moisture directly where it is produced. When laundry is hung on a drying rack, a dehumidifier can also be used as an alternative to a tumble dryer.
