Easy Installation and Maintenance WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra is equipped with two 3.5-inch hard drive bays that are easily accessible and serviceable. The hard drives are secured with a removable metal bracket using a tool-less screw. The hard drives have special screws, one of which is equipped with a pull tab for easy removal.
Connectivity The device features a small I/O panel on the back, including a single gigabit Ethernet connection, two USB 3.0 ports, and a 12v DC input. This is the extent of the EX2 Ultra's connectivity, as there are no front panel connections.
